about

This song is my first collaboration with the band "Dusty Bluvins." It was my first RPM Challenge contribution. The main guitar section is by my friend Andy W. I did not have much to record with so the song sounds like it is being played off of vinyl.

lyrics

On a sunday afternoon
standing with a red balloon.
She'll be with me soon
or I will meet my doom.
It's only three o'clock
wont freeze with any luck.
I anticipate my way
to a blissful happy day.

On a cold and sunny afternoon,
I'm standing here staring at the moon.
Waiting for my baby because
she's coming on a 60 bus.
Waiting for her to show the way
to ecstasy and a happy day, yeah.

Got my love on my mind,
a love so hard to find.
My baby's one of a kind.
She'll tease me, I wont mind.
I'm filled with anticipation
but running out of patience.
If she wont be here in an hour
My life will be so dire.

On a cold and sunny afternoon,
I'm standing here looking at the moon.
The 60 bus is being late,
my darling one aint here yet.
Think I'm gonna lose my mind,
no solace here or there to find.
